search for businesses, services and organizations by name, keyword,
category and region.
The homepage features a main search window,
several windows of category-specific search links, as well as links to
major news and information services, including weather, government links and a Web
search window.
To find a Business or Service:
- Enter a keyword or business name.
- Choose region(s). A reference map is provided. Ctrl/click to choose
multiple regions.
- Click “search”.
Submit a Photo for the Homepage
Homepage photos and descriptive text rotate evenly in perpetuity as
users visit the site. Photos and text are representative of Egypt's natural characteristics and
lifestyles of its inhabitants.
We accept homepage photo submissions. Images depicting the people,
lifestyles, and natural beauty of Egypt are encouraged. Accepted photos will
be posted permanently on the site and rotate evenly in perpetuity with all
other homepage photos.
All images must be submitted in digital
format via e-mail to: photos@localegypt.com.
- Descriptive text (caption) must accompany each photo and must be no
more than 75 characters in length. Submitted text is subject to editing
for spelling, punctuation, grammar and other criteria.
- Photos will be chosen based on reproductive clarity, artistic
quality, creativity, subject matter, and relevance to the region.
- Photos must arrive as an email attachment in JPG or JPEG format.
